Harmony Time

Spent all night on a shaky bus
Coming back to where I live
Where I found a note pinned onto my front door
It said “If you want luncheon in your lap
Knife your neighbour in the back
If you don’t do it somebody else will”

They sent a message just to say
Harmony time is here to stay

You finish me off, you want your lunch
Your hunger makes a fool of me
I stuck with you through good and bad for this

Your old shoes
Your old suit is flared and worn
It won’t impress the poor
When the moon comes up this evening
You’ll warm yourself in jail

They sent a message just to say
Harmony time is here to stay

I woke up in the bridal suite
Flowers at my head and feet
And a scowling stranger lying by my my side
I pay the bills every one
I don’t take drugs and I don’t get drunk
Hardly dare to go outside the door

Harmony Time
Harmony Time
Harmony Time
Harmony Time

Fry your brains
YES
